Vincent’s vineyard is located in the village of Sury-en-Vaux on the west bank of the Loire River, about four miles from Sancerre.  This region is known for its diverse top soils of clay, flint and gravel that provide grapes a wide range of minerals to be influenced by.  Covering nearly 20 acres, the family-owned vineyard is 90% Sauvignon Blanc and 10% Pinot Noir.  

Since 1993, Vincent’s wine has been produced organically and is certified “Biological Agriculture”/Organic by Ecocert.  In 2004, the vineyard received its biodynamic certification from Demeter.  Committed to every detail of the biodynamic process, this young wine maker uses barrels fabricated with wood cut only on days suggested by the biodynamic calendar. The calendar takes into consideration the effect the moons' gravity has on the woods density because of the amount of water being pulled out as it becomes full.

This attention to detail together with the special soil qualities of the Sancerre Region are evident in Vincent's' delicious wines. Vincent has received much attention from the organic and biodynamic farming community for his ground breaking work in finding alternative methods for organic farming.  Romanee Conti has visited Vincent and invited him to teach his techniques to their staff.
